At the Ouse Bridge, our emphasis is on good quality home-style cooking using locally sourced produce. We use Lakeland suppliers, farms and producers to provide our meat and fish and our eggs are free range and come from the nearby farm.

In addition to our menu we sometimes offer seasonal specials. As we are a Guest House and all our food is freshly cooked, we do need to know in advance if you would like to dine with us.

 

STARTERS

Home-Made Soup – Pea & Ham served with warm crusty bread

Melon and fruit platter served with a mixed berry coulis

Cranberry & Goats cheese tarts served with side salad

Smoked Chicken salad served with honey & Mustard dressing

MAIN COURSES

Thick cut local gammon served with either, new potatoes and seasonal vegetables or homemade chips, free range egg & pineapple

Carbonade of Beef served with creamy mash potato and seasonal vegetables

Oven baked chicken breast wrapped in Parma ham and stuffed with goat's cheese & sundried tomatoes

Fillet of Salmon topped with pesto & pinenut served with new potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Lemon Sole pan fried and served with homemade chips, peas
and tartar sauce

Vegetarian option available on request

All served with a selection of fresh seasonal vegetables
