At the Ouse Bridge, our emphasis is on good quality home-style cooking using locally sourced produce. We use Lakeland suppliers, farms and producers to provide our meat and fish and our eggs are free range and come from the nearby farm. In addition to our menu we sometimes offer seasonal specials. As we are a Guest House and all our food is freshly cooked, we do need to know in advance if you would like to dine with us. Ouse Bridge Hotel Dinner Menu STARTERS Home-made soup Garlic Mushrooms Tapas Style Warm slices of Gressingham duck smoked locally at the smokehouse in Penrith served with a fruit chutney Melon and fruit platter served with a mixed berry coulis Smoked salmon pate wrapped in slices of locally smoked salmon served with mixed salad accompanied with oatcakes MAIN COURSES Oven baked chicken breast stuffed with Mozzerella cheese, wrapped in Parma ham and served with a fresh tomato and basil sauce Medallions of pork tenderloin roasted with herbs and served with either a mushroom sauce or with gravy Pan cooked fillet of Sea Bass served with a warm tomato and fresh herb salsa Fillet of Lemon Sole pan fried and served with lemon and fresh parsley or with either a lemon and thyme butter or tarragon butter Honey Roasted Fillet of Salmon All served with a selection of fresh seasonal vegetables DESSERTS Various Home Made Desserts |
