Wine Tasting Weekend featuring
Hidden Gems and Forgotten Heroes

Come and enjoy a fun, entertaining and enjoyable weekend of Wine and Food Appreciation in the stunning setting of the Ouse Bridge House on Bassenthwaite Lake with professional experienced wine educator Martin Ward from Wine Educators International.

This is very much a wine discovery weekend you will have the opportunity to taste some quality wines from some less than usual origins and re-discover some greats such as Beaujolais. Examples of the types of wines we will 'discover or re-discover':

· The 'other' California - Baja!
· Indigenous, original Sicilians, e.g. Grillo
· Les Crus des Beaujolais and White Beaujolais
· Gamay at its very best!
· Marsala to Mexicans

Food and Wine Matching

Both days will feature sumptuous four and five course dinners, providing the opportunity to experience first hand how the different wines compliment different food. There will also be plenty of guidance on where to buy the wines demonstrated.
