At the Ouse Bridge we concentrate on offering delicious freshly cooked food using local produce.

In the morning wake up to a full English breakfast or if you fancy something lighter try free range scrambled eggs on toast, fresh fruit or a bacon sandwich. At the end of a long day spent walking or sightseeing come back to an excellent three-course meal in our welcoming dining room, cooked by owner and Leiths trained chef Stephen. If you would like to have dinner with us, we do need to know in advance and please note that we do not offer dinner on a Tuesday evening and there may be other occasions where dinner is not available. Please also note we are unable to accommodate children under 5 years old in the dining room in the evening.

We also have a residents lounge with a fully licensed honesty bar. The lounge has lovely views of Skiddaw and is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Or on a glorious sunny evening you can join us for us drink on outside and enjoy the wonderful views.
